• Cancellation can be made free of charge up to and including 29 days before the course starts.
• If you cancel your seat 15-28 days before the course starts, we will charge you 50% of the course fee.
• If you cancel your seat 14 days before the course starts or later, we will charge you 100% of the course fee.

You can also make an agreement with Semcon to transfer your seat to someone else at your company without any extra cost.

This privacy policy describes Semcon’s processing of your personal data when you register to Semcon’s training related to project management. Training is provided by Semcon Sweden AB, organization number 556555-8193, Lindholmsallén 2, 417 80 Gothenburg, Sweden ("Semcon").
By accepting our privacy policy at registration you confirm that you have received information about how your personal data is processed within Semcon’s training related to project management.

Definitions

Personal data is information that can directly or indirectly be connected to a living person. Examples of personal data are name, address, phone number and e-mail address.

Processing of personal data includes all handling of personal data, such as collection, registration and storage.

Personal data controller is the one who alone or together with other(s) determines the purpose and means of the processing of personal data and is ultimately responsible for the processing in accordance with applicable privacy laws. Semcon is the personal data controller for the personal data you register and that is processed within Semcon’s training related to project management.

Information We Collect

The following information about you is collected and processed:

• Email address, first name, surname, mobile number, organization and, if applicable, the ratings and comments you provide in connection with the training evaluation.

The email address is used in order to send training confirmation and invitation. The email address is also used in order to send email with a link to the evaluation and the certificate after completion of the training. If you have chosen to receive a newsletter from us, the email address is also used for this purpose.
First name, surname and organization are used in order for Semcon to create the training certificate.
Mobile number is used when we need to contact you regarding changes in the planned training. Your ratings and comments will be used for Semcon's evaluation and improvement of the training.
If you have chosen to buy a certification exam together with the training, the email address is also used for logging in to the certification and, in case the exam was successful, first name and surname on the certificate itself.

• Full address, invoice address, organization number, purchase order number, cost center and department.

This information is used for invoicing of the ordered training.

• Role, email copy and other information.

Role is used by the trainer to adapt the content of the training to the participants’ needs and interests. An email address can be registered to inform a colleague or manager via a copy of the training confirmation and invitation. Other information may be, e.g., allergies that must be communicated when ordering food at the training site.

Legal Basis for the Processing

The information is collected and processed by Semcon as part of the fulfillment of an agreement with you or with your organization regarding the provision of the training and the certification, if any, and the information is a prerequisite for Semcon to provide the service and fulfill the agreement.

In case you have chosen to receive newsletters from us, we base the processing on your consent that you submitted in connection with registering. If you registered before April 2018, we base our communication with you on Semcon’s legitimate interests in communicating and maintaining a business relationship with you as a customer contact and continuously informing you about our business, our training and our events. We believe that our legitimate interest complies with applicable privacy laws and respects your rights and freedoms.

You may at any time revoke your consent to receiving the newsletter or choose to unsubscribe (opt-out) from it. In that case we will immediately cease sending newsletters to you.

Transfer of Personal Data

Semcon will not share, sell, transfer or otherwise disclose your personal data. Personal data may, however, be processed by a third party in the form of personal data assistants engaged by Semcon, for example, for operating and hosting the web- and database platform used in Semcon’s training related to project management.

Storage and Deletion of Personal Data

Semcon stores your data for the duration of the training plus six months after completion of the training for evaluation purposes. The reason is that you should be able to perform the training evaluation and thus receive your certificate with no time pressure. After this time your personal data will be permanently unidentified and your training certificate will not be able to be re-created.

You can actively choose to let Semcon save your personal information for a longer period of time, enabling the training certificate to be re-created and sent to you at any time. Saved personal information also makes it easier to sign up for future training at Semcon.

If you have chosen to buy a certification exam together with the training, your first name and surname will be stored as long as you want to keep your certification result.

You can contact Semcon at any time and withdraw your consent if you do not want to remain in our registry and your data will then be permanently deleted.

Information, Correction and Complaints

You have, under applicable privacy laws, the right to request free of charge information about Semcon’s processing of your personal data. If you would like such information, you are asked to send a written, signed request to Semcon at ProjectTraining@semcon.com. If your personal data is incorrect or has been processed in violation of applicable privacy laws, you are always entitled to request that your personal data be corrected, blocked or deleted. You also have the right to, where possible, request the transfer of your personal data to another specified personal data responsible (data portability).

You have the right to turn to the Swedish Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten, which is the supervisory authority, with complaints regarding Semcon's processing of personal data within Semcon’s training related to project management. You can also write to us with complaints, to email dataprivacy@semcon.com.

Semcon offers XLPM certification (XLPM is a general methodology for assignment-, project-, program- and portfolio management) whereby methodology knowledge is examined.

The following certifications are available:

• Project management in XLPM - project manager role (60 minutes, 75 questions, 80% correct answers)
• XLPM Agile Professional (60 minutes, 70 questions, 75% correct answers)
  Certification in agile project management in combination with traditional project methodology.

In connection to a training course, the certification is offered to a reduced price. You will have best chance to pass the test just after a training course when the knowledge is fresh in your memory.

Certification can also be ordered without training. Please contact us for more information.

• When the certification has been ordered (or when the training is over) an e-mail is sent with information on how to log in. The language selection Swedish or English, is made at the login.
• The certification is time-limited. The time remaining is displayed and it is not possible to pause the certification. The certification is considered as completed when all the questions have been answered, or when the time has expired.
• The result successful or not successful is received after the test.

If the certification result is successful a link to the printable certificate is sent together with information on how it can be added to a LinkedIn profile. The certificate number is unique.

When the result is unsuccessful, or if time runs out, one more certification attempt is allowed. This is done by logging in again with the same credentials as at the first attempt. If also the second attempt is unsuccessful, no more attempts are given unless the ordering procedure is repeated.

Invalidation of Certificate

If there are complaints on the bearer of the certificate, because he or she does not act in accordance with the methodology of the certified area in XLPM, Semcon reserves the right to mark the certificate in question as invalid.
